Dear CRAZYWISE supporters,
We are currently witnessing a major paradigm shift that is changing the way Western culture defines and treats a mental health crisis. Our film is riding the wave of a rapidly growing audience demanding more choices for recovery. As committed independent filmmakers, we need your continued support to help us ride that rising wave.
Our goal between today, September 30 and noon on October 9 is to raise $25,000 to finish editing CRAZYWISE!
Thanks to our 2014 Kickstarter campaign and over 620 supporters, we’ve completed production on CRAZYWISE including:
- Shooting the stories of our main characters – Adam and Ekhaya.
- Interviews with over 75 leading experts and persons with lived experience.
- Sorting through over 200 hours of footage to start the first cut of CRAZYWISE with an award-winning editor.
- And so much more.
Ekhaya is a new character since Kickstarter! In case you haven’t met Ekhaya, we put together a short video below to introduce you to her.
It is because of individual donations that we were able to film Ekhaya’s story of recovery and transformation. However, filming and editing a new character has added additional expenses and we need the funds to finish telling her story!
So we turn to you, our loyal supporters, whose belief in us and personal commitment has brought us this far. With your continued support, we WILL bring Ekhaya’s story and many more into the open to inspire others.

This is a very modest budget for an endeavor of this size that will impact so many people in such a lasting and meaningful way. We are running this campaign independent of Kickstarter to save the 9% of service fees and to offer a tax-deduction. Plus we have great rewards to offer including a “Special Edition” DVD that will include bonus interviews from experts like Gabor Mate, Sandra Ingerman and Alberto Villoldo!
